Cinergy Communications Large Enterprise division provides SONET, DWDM and Ethernet transport services to Fortune 1000 clients. Provided over our extensive metropolitan and regional dedicated Fiber Optic Infrastructure these services allow our customers to more effectively implement and manage their Private Line Connectivity, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery initiatives.

Our enhanced network management and monitoring capabilities are located in our state-of-the-art Network Operations Center (NOC) in Evansville, IN. This center monitors and tests our entire network and is staffed 24/7/365.

Because we constantly monitor our network, we can offer unparalleled disaster recovery time in as little as 30 minutes. To better ensure higher quality maintenance and faster emergency response times, we staff our network maintenance and emergency response teams with company personnel only.

In 2002 Cinergy Communications standardized its transport platform on Cisco Systems optical SONET, earning Cinergy Communications the Cisco Powered Network certification. All our network facilities are equipped with dual AC/DC power systems and redundant power generation facilities.

Recently Cinergy Communications worked with a Fortune 50 consumer products company to construct and deploy a private metropolitan fiber-optic network that connects all of their corporate offices and data communications centers. This network is so powerful that just two strands of fiber can move up to two terabits of data per second. This is the equivalent of sending the entire Encyclopedia Britannica from New York to San Francisco in 1/320th of a second.
